Not so easy in the 1920s …

In 1914, Charles Murray and W.A. Jones sold the Murray and Jones Building, Est. 1913 to the Curtner brothers from San Jose (more on that in a later post). As such, the building was renamed to the Curtner Building. Here’s a sampling of the businesses that were in the Murray and Jones building at the corner of 10th and J St. back then.
